Toon Link 90px
  • GCN - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
  • NDS - The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Link as he appeared in The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass, with big eyes and an expressive face. He lived peacefully on Outset Island until a bird captured his little sister, and he came to her rescue. In The Wind Waker, he had to crawl, press up to walls, and the like. His green clothes were worn on his 12th birthday and are the lucky outfit of the hero of legend.
Triforce Slash (Toon Link) 90px Toon Link's Final Smash. Hit an enemy with the light emanating from the Triforce mark on his hand to initiate the move. The enemy will be trapped within the Triforce and be unable to move—Toon Link will then rush in close and carve up his foe at lightning speed. The final blow will break the Triforce prison and send the opponent off the screen.

  • GCN - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Link in his traditional clothing. He wears a blue, V-neck, long-sleeved top with a lobster pattern, coordinated with slender orange pants. It makes you think that, even on his home, Outset Island, Link was quite the fashion leader, and suggests that he may have changed into his green hero's clothing somewhat grudgingly.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii UEdit

TrophiesEdit

Name Image Game(s) Description
Toon Link
  • GCN - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
  • NDS - The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
This cartoonish version of Link is how he appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker and a few other titles. In Smash Bros., he uses moves much like his older, taller counterpart. His small size gives him extra speed, though, so take advantage of that to send your foes flying.
Toon Link (Alt.)
  • GCN - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
  • NDS - The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Toon Link's Bomb move doesn't deal much damage, but the blast radius is pretty big. His bombs can be thrown in all directions, damaging or distracting your foes. Also, his up special Spin Attack keeps him airborne longer than Link's version. For some launching power, use the side smash attack.

Rematch with SonicEdit

Windy HillEdit

On Windy Hill, Toon Link can't cross under the stage. His Spin Attack would get him stuck in the middle dent. He can barely make it from the left platform to the right with just one jump. He can't make it back on stage from offscreen under the stage.

TriviaEdit

  • Toon Link wields the Master Sword in its true state and the Hero's Shield in the Smash Bros. series. In The Wind Waker, however, Toon Link cannot wield the True Master Sword with the Hero's Shield since the latter is replaced with the Mirror Shield (a requirement to restoring the Master Sword).
